Recently, there are some DVRs/NVRs with reminder of upgrading automatically.

Solution to the problem of automatic remote upgrade of DVR and NVR:

 

1. Remove the network cable of DVR and NVR and disconnect all networks. This is very important.

2. Turn off the option of remote automatic upgrade of DVR and NVR.

3. Set a complex password (combination of numbers and upper and lower cases).

4. Check the upgrade IP in the log and isolate this IP address in the blacklist in the network service.

5. If the device is bound to a fixed IP, ask the customer to use XMEYE’s cloud service and cancel the binding of IP and port mapping.

6. Provide the version to us and we will send you the program for upgrade from a USB flash drive.

7. Equipment necrosis caused by automatic upgrade failure may not be repairable. Please ask your distributor to contact us.
